There are 6 stages in the SwimSafer 2.0 programme and includes survival and swimming technical skills progressively tested as they move up each level.
The SwimSafer 2.0 Programme aims to assess students’ swimming proficiency and water survival skills. It is also the only learn-to-swim programme recognised by Sports Singapore and Ministry of Education schools.
Sttitude Swim School runs the Swimsafer 2.0 Test bi-annually every year. (mid-year and year-end).
All our tests are run at Sports Singapore public swimming pools as the pool venues are approved by Sports Singapore.
As we understand that not all our students have lessons at a public swimming pool and might experience fear in the change of environment on the test day, we would hold a Revision session for ALL our students at the test venue prior to the test. This is to familiarise them with the test environment and the test procedures.
On our test days, all our registered students from condo, private estates and public pool will be gathered together and have their tests conducted at the test venue.
The test conducted at the pool will be the PRACTICAL component of the SwimSafer 2.0 tests.
After successful completion of the SwimSafer 2.0 PRACTICAL component, each child will have to successfully complete an online SwimSafer 2.0 THEORY component to receive a stage completion e-certificate/hard copy certificate.
