Dear parents, if youโve been using the ActiveSG app, you might already know about the transition to the new MyActiveSG+ platform. Please note that the existing ActiveSG app will be discontinued on October 1. These changes will impact how you purchase and use entrance tickets for swimming classes.
Here’s what you need to know to stay prepared and ensure a seamless transition for your swimming classes.
Purchasing of Swim Passes
- From now until 14 August, parents may continue to purchase and utilise MyActiveSWIM and MyActiveGYM scheme and/or pool day passes for their child on the ActiveSG app. Pay by credit or debit card, or MyCash.
- From 15 August onwards, buy new passes on the New MyActiveSG+ platform instead. Pay by credit or debit card, PayNow, or ActiveSG credits.
Usage of Swim Passes
- The last utilization day for pool and gym passes purchased via the ActiveSG app is 14 August. Members will receive refunds in full for unused day passes, or a prorated refund for monthly passes, via their PayNow-NRIC-linked bank account by mid-September.
Specific Passes for Specific Pools:
- Ensure you purchase the correct type of ticket to match your destination.
- Normal Pool Tickets: Sengkang Swimming Complex, Clementi Swimming Complex, Delta Swimming Complex
- Featured Pool Tickets: Heartbeat@Bedok Swimming Complex
Regarding Active Wallet: ActiveSG Credit and MyCash
ActiveSG Credits:
- All balances are now transferred to the new MyActiveSG+ platform.
- Beginning 1 July 2024, you can start using your ActiveSG Credits on MyActiveSG+. All ActiveSG credits will be automatically extended until 31 December 2025.
*Promotion: From 15 June to 31 August, members who log into MyActiveSG+ will receive a one-time top-up of $10 ActiveSG Anniversary Credits.
MyCash:
- The top-up to MyCash has been ceased.
- From 1 July to 14 August, swimming passes can be purchased via PayNow or credit/debit cards.
- You can use your MyCash balance on the ActiveSG app until 14 August
- Unused MyCash will be refunded to your PayNow-NRIC-linked bank account by 31 August
